city of miami beach commission chamber

The project marked the first significant renovations to the City’s primary meeting space since City Hall opened in 1977. Upgrades to the City Commission Chambers include a new control room supporting multiple camera angles, enhanced safety features, improved video monitors, an upgraded air-conditioning and ventilation system, and expanded presentation capabilities. The redesigned dais now includes a wheelchair lift and a digital queuing system for elected officials. Accessibility enhancements align with the Americans with Disabilities Act, featuring improved closed-captioning in both English and Spanish.

The two-story Chambers now boasts an earth-tone color scheme and offers seating for 210 attendees across the lower and upper viewing galleries. Additionally, 10 dedicated staff workstations have been added to support city employees' productivity during meetings.
