KEVIN BRUK GALLERY
Located in a newly emerging design district, the gallery addressed the need for a space that would be a forum for contemporary art. The 3,800 sf gallery was divided in half. The left side is the main gallery and the right side is divided into two project rooms, an office and storage area. The lighting, exposed concrete ceiling, frosted storefront windows, galvanized steel ductwork, and poured concrete reception desk create a clean backdrop for art. The daylight-like fluorescent lighting in the main gallery offers an alternative approach to the atmospheric incandescent lighting found in most art galleries.
