MIAMI BEACH MASTER BEACH PLAN

This proposal started with a survey of the existing conditions of Miami Beach with a focused analysis of its current deficiencies. Keeping in mind the total day to day experience, our proposal studied parking and beach-wide transportation, circulation, concession management, security, maintenance, environmental impact, marketing and architectonic iconography. Specific prototypical design developments included the "Concession Oasis", the "Comfort Oasis" at the street ends, and the "Dune Walk Overs". We also proposed increased recreational opportunities such as a miniature golf course and a water slide. The overall goal was to create a "Matrix of Diversity" that would enhance the Beach experience, weaving a lively and engaging tale for patrons to enjoy.
