felice grodin

Felice Grodin’s practice as an architect and artist is focused on alternative landscapes that span both the micro and macro scale. Using her training as an architect, she explores processes that merge the physical and mental landscape. She attempts to map out cartographies of tension and compression that represent moments of transformation.

In addition to working for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP in New York and Arquitectonica in Miami, she has practiced as a professional artist for the last fifteen years and is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Architecture at Florida International University.

Her work as an artist has been exhibited in several venues, including the Perez Art Museum Miami, (Miami, FL), Tampa Museum of Art, Locust Projects (Miami), Museum of Art + Design (Miami), Design Matters Gallery (Los Angeles), and Diana Lowenstein Gallery (Miami).

Felice Grodin attended the Tulane University School of Architecture, where her thesis was a recipient of the Thomas J. Lupo Award for Metropolitan Studies. She received her Master of Architecture with Distinction from Harvard University.
